FantasyConnected is an unofficial, fan-made companion tool created by BouchHub. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by EA SPORTS, Electronic Arts, the National Hockey League, the NHL Players' Association, or any NHL team. NHL and team names are used for identification only.

Player ratings

Ratings shown in a draft come from the dataset the commissioner selects. Datasets are imported by the site administrator from files they are authorised to use (for example, a commissioner's own spreadsheet or an export provided with permission by a ratings site). FantasyConnected uses a historical EA NHL ratings baseline, with NHL team assignments and real-world contracts updated separately. Player ratings and contracts may differ from your installed NHL 27 roster. Ratings are never described as official NHL 27 day-one ratings unless the dataset has been marked verified by an administrator.

Contracts

Cap hits come from the open nhl-contracts dataset (data released under CC0 1.0). Real-world cap hits are not the same as contract values inside NHL 27. Where a cap hit is missing or sources disagree, the player is flagged and cannot be drafted until a commissioner or administrator sets a value.

Rosters and headshots

Current team assignments are reconciled against the NHL's public web API. Player headshots, when shown, are linked directly from that API and are not re-hosted by FantasyConnected; reuse rights for those images have not been verified, and the site administrator can disable them, in which case a generic silhouette is shown. If you are a rights holder and want an image removed, contact the site owner.

GM photos

Photos uploaded by users must be images they have the right to share. Uploads are resized, stripped of metadata, and may be removed by an administrator at any time. Any signed-in user can report a profile photo.

Hosting

This site is self-hosted. It may be unavailable when the host machine is offline. Draft state is persisted in a database and backed up nightly.
